The Perth City Heritage Fund Story
Between 2012 and 2022 the Perth City Heritage
Fund committed over £1.85m in grant assistance
to different restoration and conservation projects. 78 grants contributed to over £7.7m investment in high quality repairs to Perth’s historic environment in the same period.
Funding comes in tranches: 2012-2015, 2015-2018, 2018-2021 and then, owing to disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023. In the 2022-2023 period a further £250,000 was committed in grant assistance.
The Trust has been approved to run an additional tranche from 2023-2026. Demand for the scheme over the years has been high and funds are usually fully subscribed. Enquiries at the earliest possible opportunity are encouraged.
